Me Against My Head

"Me Against My Head" is a deeply personal collection inspired by my own struggle with mental health. It explores three emotional states Anxiety, Anger, and Body Dysmorphia, each expressed through its own design. What once felt like an endless battle within myself has been transformed into something tangible, a way to reclaim control and turn vulnerability into strength.
Each piece communicates through its materials;
Tensioned and twisted fabrics capture the chaos of bottled-up emotion and tangled thoughts. Sheer, delicate textiles reveal feelings of exposure and fragility. Rigid, structured materials embody the wall I built around myself, a shield born from anger and self-protection.
With this collection, I wanted to translate my inner world into something others could see and feel. By confronting and exposing my own struggles, I hope to offer a sense of understanding and hope to those fighting similar battles. The conflict within the mind can be consuming, but through creation, I've learned that healing is possible, and that the self can emerge stronger than before.
